> Professor Victoria Hurth Read moreVictoria Hurth is a Visiting Fellow of Cambridge Judge Business School and Senior Associate at the University of Cambridge’s Institute for Sustainability Leadership where she contributes to a range of post-graduate programmes and executive education. Her research focuses on the concept of 'purpose-driven organisations’ – putting sustainable wellbeing at the heart of business success, and the role of marketing, governance, leadership and culture in delivering this agenda. Victoria is Convenor of the first ISO global governance standard ‘Guidance for Governance of Organisations’ (ISO37000), a member of the UNCTAD/UNEP task force developing a methodology for SDG indicator 12.6.1, a member of WBCSD’s working group on Governance. Victoria has published research papers and thought pieces in journals including: Nature Climate Change, The New Scientist, Board Leadership, Carbon Management and Sustainable Development. She has 20 years’ experience of business transformation having previously worked for Accenture with clients including Marks and Spencer, Cancer Research and J Sainsbury. She is a Non-Executive Director of the Soil Association Certification Ltd and FTB Lawsons Ltd. Victoria is a Chartered Manager, Chartered Marketer and a founder member of the UK’s South West Mutual Community Bank. She has been engaged by organisations such as The British Council, British Standards Institute and LEAD International, and was a founder Director of the first social enterprise pub in Plymouth.

> Jean-Pierre Mean, LL.M.(Harvard) Read moreJean-Pierre is a lawyer admitted to the bar in Quebec/Canada and in Switzerland and holds a doctorate in law from the University of Basle/Switzerland and an LL.M. from the Harvard Law School. He has been General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of SGS, an international inspection, verification and certification company based in Geneva/Switzerland, from 1996 to 2008, with an interruption in 2002 and 2003 when he was Chief Compliance Officer of the European Bank for Development and Reconstruction (EBRD). He has presided the Swiss Chapter of Transparency International and spearheaded the issue of the 2011 Edition of the Rules on Combating Corruption of the International Chamber of Commerce. He was a member of the ISO Committee working on the Anti-Bribery Management Systems Standard (ISO 37001) and was the Convenor of the Working Group that issued the Technical Specification on Competence requirements for auditing and certification of anti-bribery management systems ((ISO/IEC TC 17021-9). He is now the Convenor of the Working Group in charge of post-publication issues and of issuing a Handbook on ISO 37001.

> Dr Wim Vandekerckhove Read moreWim holds a Phd in Applied Ethics from Ghent University. He is now Reader in Business Ethics and co-director of the Centre of Research on Employment and Work (CREW) at the University of Greenwich. Wim was a visiting scholar at the University of Oslo in 2007 (Centre for Development and the Environment SUM), and a visiting fellow at Griffith University in 2020 (Centre for Governance and Public Policy). His authored books include Whistleblowing and Organisational Social Responsibility (Ashgate/Routledge), and The Whistleblowing Guide: Speak-Up Arrangements, Challenges, and Best Practices (2019, Wiley, with Kate Kenny and Marianna Fotaki). Wim has provided expertise on whistleblowing to various organisations, including Council of Europe, the Whistleblower Advice Centre in the Netherlands, the UK Department of Health, the Association of Chartered and Certified Accountants (ACCA), the UNODC and the International Olympic Committee (IOC). He is currently the convenor of a working group within the International Organisation for Standardization (ISO TC309/WG3), developing the international standard for whistleblowing arrangements.

> Daniel Lucien Bühr Read moreDaniel is a lawyer at LALIVE in Zurich. He deals with banking and financial market law as well as white collar crime law and compliance management, including internal and official investigations. He also leads complex international legal and compliance projects. Daniel Lucien Bühr is a founding member and chairman of Ethics and Compliance Switzerland (ECS), founding member of the International Academy of Financial Crime Litigators (IAFCL), member of the International Association of Independent Corporate Monitors (IAICM), the International Bar Association (IBA) and the Swiss Management company (SMG). He is also a member of the Swiss Association for Standardization (SNV), co-chair of the Standards Committee 207 (Governance of Organizations) and a member of the Expert Committee for Compliance Management Systems of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). Before joining LALIVE, Daniel Bühr was Head of Legal Services Europe, Russia, Middle East and Africa for a globally active Swiss company (2006-2011) and previously held various legal functions in a Dutch group. Daniel Lucien Bühr is an advocate from Bern and did his doctoral thesis at the Institute for Private International and Procedural Law at the University of Bern. In 2004 he completed MBA at Columbia University, New York, and at the London Business School.

> Professor Bartosz Makowicz Read moreBartosz is university professor at the Faculty of Law, European-University Viadrina in Frankfurt (O.), Germany. He is founder and director of the Viadrina Compliance Center, which is an interdisciplinary research center and a think-tank for Governance, Risk and Compliance. He is a member of Academic Advisory Councils of many associations and journals like the Professional Association of Compliance Manager. He has been advisor on Compliance to several companies and governments among them the Federal Government of the Federal Republic of Germany. He has been the Head of Delegation of Germany to the ISO Project Committees on ISO 19600 Compliance Management Systems and ISO 37001 Anti-Bribery Management Systems. He has been recently nominated for the same function to the ISO Technical Committee 309 on ISO “Organizational Governance”. Furthermore, Bartosz is author of over 100 publications on compliance and editor in chief of the German journal “COMPLY.” He gave more than 100 presentations on various compliance issues at national and international conferences and congresses. He was visiting professor at numerous foreign universities among them the Institute for State and Law in Moscow, Thammasat University Bangkok, University of Porto Alegre, University of Warsaw, University of Grand Canaria and many more.
